Large format photography is something that really interests me and so it happens I spotted this awesome vintage camera on the streets. In a few seconds I was already in conversation with the owner, the photographer and immediately understood we shared the same passion. So he decided to show me the whole process of making a photograph. That really was awesome.
It was great to see him preparing the photograph, taking the shot and developing the photo itself! Just to be there when the photo, the visual appears from scratch it magnificent. Not to mention the final result of course ….something my cameras can’t produce.
Just look at that amazing size ….and that small camera I hold in my hand. No wonder my pictures aren’t as good as this vintage one delivers. The photograph that was taken is the one I posted on top of this blogpost.
I hope one day to shoot with such a good performing vintage large format camera. Now, after seeing it working for real I’m even more interesting in large format photography.
