This time I decided to visit Amsterdam Fashion Week for only the weekend, because of the catwalk program (and the bad weather forecast). Of course as expected it was again a nice event. To be honest there were some downsides this time, which will also be discussed below.
With this post I’m not going to discuss all the shows (for now). I just want to give you guys a summary of the event for now. In the upcoming days you’ll see more of the event and especially the street style.

The best thing about Fashion Week for me is the street style and meeting bloggers. It also nice to meet Dutch celebrities, especially those who know you. Luckily this time I saw a lot of fellow bloggers, fashion professionals and celebrities even though I was there only for two days.

Overall it was a nice weekend with good shows and of course there was one show that stood out: JONATHAN CHRISTOPHER HOMME (more of this show soon on the blog).
DOWNSIDES
Unfortunately there were some downsides this time. To begin with the weather …it was raining a lot, which makes shooting outside uneasy. And to make it even worse, it was getting dark quite early because of this cloudy weather in the winter period. The launch area was indoor now (because it’s winter of course) so besides the fact that it was a bit too dark for good photography and their wasn’t a lot of space. Often is was so crowded that spotting interesting looks was almost impossible, not to mention shoot them.
But nevertheless I had a good time and captured some nice looks! (more coming soon)
