The silence, the lights and the emptyness ….The night scene is definitely one of my favorite moments. In addition to the crowded places I usually visit for my photography it’s quite nice to be surrounded by this silence now and then. At these moments I like to catch a train later and just wander arround at the canals and just enjoy the silence.
MBFW Street style: Fashionbloggers & Fashionchick
Always a pleasure catching up with the lovely Wendy from Fashionchick and capturing her looks. Now she was accompanied by the winners of the Fashionchick Bloggercontest. It was nice to see these international bloggers together and what really surprised me was the fact that most of them were quite young.

Street style: Leather & tartan, Arnhem
I like the simplicity of the use of color in the look. The funny thing …it wasn’t me who spotted her but it was Fabuliciousgirl who saw her and approached her. Luckily she knows what style I like, so I only had to take the photograph.

MBFW Street style: Sporty & chic
Always nice to see Ricardo again …this time with a nice look. He combined a sporty vest with a chic fur coat which immediately caught my eye.
Street style: Japanese female winter look, Amsterdam
It was so nice meeting these friendly Japanese women just before the Starbucks in Amsterdam. When I was about to exit the building I immediately spotted this Japanese woman a quickly took a shot (see below). I decided to go after them and ask her for a quick shoot, because I just wanted to capture the whole look the way it deserved to be shot (see above). Besides the shooting it was nice to use this opportunity to speak some Japanese, which went quite well (haven’t used it the last 3 years).

Street moments: Sober weather …sober clothing, Amsterdam
” ..depends on your mood right?”
Unfortunately this image is mostly seen on the streets when the weather is kinda sober ….grey sky, cold wind and no sunshine at all. I do understand that people don’t look at their most fashionable during these moments. Because I think the look you are wearing mostly depends on Continue reading “Street moments: Sober weather …sober clothing, Amsterdam”
