I always thought that only HBO fashion education could deliver a high quality fashion show, but luckily the best MBO fashion designers proved me wrong. Of course there is a difference in design, those of MBO are not that conceptual and therefore more wearable. Which, in my case, is even better because I watched the show from a street style photographers point of view. Continue reading “M°BA: Fashion show Best of MBO”
M°BA street style: Before the fashion show
“A bit awkward right”
Saw this guy standing in line for ‘Best of MBO’ fashion show at M°BA13, so I approached him because he just got style. Really friendly and cooperative guy, feeling a bit awkward posing for me right next to a line of people waiting Continue reading “M°BA street style: Before the fashion show”
Redken 5th Avenue NYC: The only bloggers
Fashion blogger Fabuliciousgirl and The Viewfinder had the pleasure of visiting and capturing a great private fashion show by Redken 5th Avenue NYC during M°BA13. It turned out we were the only bloggers there. Everything was well organized, the crowd control, the music, lighting and the whole setup of the show itself. Great hairstyles on the runway, combined with good design clothing.
I will be posting the photographs of this show on the blog soon. I’m quite busy at the moment, so please accept my apology. Special thanks to the people of Redken for giving us this great evening and experience.

M°BA: Rock style
Spotted this guy even before the fashion show started at the entrance and later that evening on the third row. Of course I had to shot him, so I approached him to take these photographs of him in front of this white wall to enhance the contrast ..unfortunately another photographer saw me shooting him and wanted to take some too. But luckily this rock styled guy was totally focused on me. Continue reading “M°BA: Rock style”
M°BA: Graduationshow
This fashion show displayed the final pieces of RijnIJssel Graduates, which was quite good. Is was nice seeing all the different styles of the graduates and their theme. Of course there were some that didn’t appeal to me, but that’s just personal preference and taste right. The show good and well organized with I think real models and some amateur ones. Take a look at the slideshows below. Continue reading “M°BA: Graduationshow”
M°BA: The Mood Room
“Getting in the mood already?”
I really suggest everyone to go visit the exhibition at M°BA HQ, because it really is interesting and eye opening (to me at least). First start in the basement where you’ll find the Mood Room, that way you’ll be better prepared and more openminded to see the next floors. I decided to share a bit of the Mood Room through the photographs below. Keep in Continue reading “M°BA: The Mood Room”
M°BA: Döndü, Fashion design student
While I was scanning the crowd I potted a group of young fashionistas with in the middle a familiar face …Döndü, a fashion design student who’se winning piece was shown at this M°BA fashion show. Of course we had a little chat and took photos of the show. In the end I decided to capture the look she had that evening.
M°BA: Fashion show by Ami-e-toi
“Everybody deserves a second change”
Simplicity, chic and a bit of vintage …the collection by label Ami-e-toi: A line designed by young people, with in each piece a vintage. Made by the foundation “Mode Met een Missie” (English: Fashion with a mission), a group of women who deserve a new start after going through some bad life experiences. I decided to visit this MOBA show together with Fabuliciousgirl, even though we knew Continue reading “M°BA: Fashion show by Ami-e-toi”
