PERSONAL : Reshooting inspiring photographs

“..reshooting and NOT copying”

Looking at other photography really inspires and helps my improving my skills. The reason why I look for inspiration is to think outside the box, getting new ideas and perspectives.

Reshoot
Buying books is a good investment, because you gain knowledge and inspiration on both photography and fashion. One thing I like to do

is reshooting particular photographs ..those that really inspire me. Keep in mind that I’m talking about reshooting and NOT copying, because that’s so not-done and disrespect. So for instance trying to shoot a model with kinda the same pose or the kind of the same scene/ location.

What inspires me?
For inspiration, both fashion and street photography, I look in fashion magazines (from my wife her collection), photography books, online and even fashion new season lookbooks. Another important source of inspiration are of course other bloggers, like The Sartorialist, Eric Kim, Steve Huff, Garance Doré and so on.
