This year it was quite difficult shooting people at the lounge area because in my opinion there was just a small place overladed with people and poor lighting. Down below you’ll see the second selection of the looks I captured at the lounge area. To be honest the looks I spotted this year weren’t that nice as they were last year.
Street style: Illustrated jacket & shorts, Amsterdam
Spotted this asian guy with quite a noticeable jacket and as he came closer I saw it was a leather jacket which was covered with illustrations. It’s the first one I’ve captured on the streets. And finishing the look with the shorts and those shoes makes it quite unique.

LENS REVIEW: Canon 17-40mm F/4 L
Another lens review made possible by my partner Camex….this tim I had the pleasure of shooting with the Canon 17-40mm F/4 L wide angle zoom lens. And to be short it totally rocks! Of course I planned for the perfect situation so I could really test it under the right circumstances and with the right purposes. In my opinion this lens is perfect for events …the only thing left was to find that event and of course I did; Fashionchick Redesign Launch Event
STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
Being a street photographer I just had to take this lens on a spin on the streets of course and I really delivers interesting results. A very important advantage of Continue reading “LENS REVIEW: Canon 17-40mm F/4 L”
EVENT: Fashionchick Redesign Launch
Last friday Fashionchick launched their redesign and of course they celebrated it with a nice party in Amsterdam and ask me to do the event photography. I always like shooting their events because we go along so well and therefore have so much fun.
It was really great seeing of the lovely women of Fashionchick again and celebrating their website redesign. Besides the redesign there was also the first preview ever of the Continue reading “EVENT: Fashionchick Redesign Launch”
Street style: Japanese chic & retro, Amsterdam
I really liked the retro style that was revealing from underneath her chic coat. It’s always nice to capture Japanese people, because after having visited Tokyo I really miss Japanese people. I find them very interesting, polite and nicely styled.

Street style: Sophisticated with beanie, Amsterdam

Street style: Blue leopard & leather, Fabuliciousgirl
I honestly really like this look, the simplicity of the black and that blue popping out. Well you know leopard print isn’t one of my favorites, always having discussions about it with Aniek (FABULICIOUSGIRL) …but I have to admit that she pulled it off this time.
The blue makes it less trashy in my opinion and combined with Continue reading “Street style: Blue leopard & leather, Fabuliciousgirl”
Street style: Brown fur coat, Amsterdam
Even though this woman was wearing a simple outfit, I wanted to shoot her because of her fur coat ….quite nice.
