What better way to spend your fav coffee, right? I’m becoming quite a fan of Netflix. So now when I enjoy my Starbucks coffee there’s a big chance that coffee is accompanied by my iPad playing Netflix!

With 100% certainty I can say that blogging in New York, especially a Starbucks with a good view on the always busy streets, is the best place I blogged. Why? Well I think it has to do with the fact that I’m surrounded with life …and by life I mean the life I need: fashionistas, gents, architecture, signs, sounds, working people, stories, interesting and contrasting street moments. Combine that with your fave coffee flavour and voila …I got myself the place to work.
I found working here just perfect, starting the day with a nice breakfast and coffee while checking the latest and posting new stuff for you guys. While working I got energized by only looking outside; the people, the traffic …all great moments to capture. So every day I couldn’t wait to finish my daily posts and grab my beloved camera and hit the streets!
Of course back in The Netherlands I also got these moments and places, but it just not that great as I experienced in New York …so can’t wait to go back again.
“An essential part of my workflow”
For some time I have been thinking for a small update of my desk ….a nicely organized desk really improves my workflow. I noticed that my desk is a bit unorganized because I caught myself having lots of those ´hey where is that thing?´-moments lately. I’m always illustrating my ideas and also now for this desk-update I came up with this illustration to give you guys a visual of idea.
Still looking for some nice accessories to store my cables, small camera gear and my stationery. Any tips?
“Working with a view”
Finally that time of the year has come …I just love reading a magazine or blogging at the balcony: Summer workflow. As I’m writing this blog I got my iPhone playlist on and all I do is enjoy the nice purple to yellow gradient sky and the silence on the streets.
Also have favorite summer evening moments?
Smartphone apps, tablets and free public wifi makes blogging more fun and easy to do. When I’m writing a blog post, doing some illustration or need to be inspired the best place for me to go to would be a coffeehouse. Of course I prefer Starbucks. It’s my favorite place because, beside the coffee and atmosphere, it appeals to lots of interesting people: business people, travelers/ tourists, bloggers and fashionistas.
