Spotted this fashionista in Soho New York. The thing I like about this look is the subtle layers and folds made by this tied up dress. By finishing this high waisted dress with that crop shirt she makes it look like she has nice tall legs. Really a friendly woman and great look.
This guy totally style his look as if he was a bike messenger …practical, nice fit finished with the needed gloves and sneakers. I spotted him sitting on a bench calling with a friend,. and when he got on his bike I saw this nicely matched look with I decided to capture. Maybe he really was a bike messenger, but as far I know he wasn’t.
New York really is a beautiful city and especially at night. I just loved wandering around at night, alone with my camera and my thoughts. Without even realizing I walked block after block after block. One thing I, as a photographer, really like in this city is the reflecting lights in the water on the streets …it doubles the light and colours of this amazing city. It just gives the buildings that nice color scheme at night.
It’s a great thing that you really can spot all kind of style on the streets in New York, for instance I never spotted a hippie styled woman like this one before.
Such a simple fashionable look …really back to basic which totally works.
Even though it was summer I spotted lot’s of guys with all black looks ….function follows fashion right.
