Seriously, squirrels in New York are quite beautiful. The first time I visited New York saw a lot of squirrels at the parks and in contrast to those in The Netherlands they are large, quite tame and have large beautiful tails.
I find it interesting to see such animals, in that condition, in such a big city as New York. Of course they are one of the characteristics of New York and therefore worth a ‘Details of New York’ post.
Still guy was enjoying his moment …alone on the streets of New York at night. This was such a nice moment to spot in ‘the city that never sleeps’.
A nice example of New York bicycle fashion. Even though she choses to go safely she did it with flair.
One thing that I noticed ..something I don’t see in Amsterdam is the use of helmets on bicycles in New York. By that I don’t mean fashionable ones but the real deal. I do have to say that it’s New York we’re talking about so it’s kinda logical because of the traffic ….I’ve seen it, cycling on those streets could be quite the challenge!
