Here I captured a nice example of the sporty chic looks that I spotted frequently on the streets of New York. You may think she just got out of the gym, but this is here look of that day accompanied with that large chic leather handbag. This isn’t something I see in Amsterdam ….at least not this way.

This blonde kept it simple by dressing herself with only grey shades ….except for her black shoes and bag.

Street style: Foreign chic style, Amsterdam
I really like it when a person puts effort in all the details/ pieces of their look …for instance this woman who has combined piece that make a total chic and prosperous look (even that Leica camera). She was really friendly and we had a nice chat afterwards.

Street style: Summer womenswear, Amsterdam
Street style: The bag, Amsterdam
This is a good example of the influence a bag can have on a look …I mean, as you can see here a well designed bag can become the most important/ interesting piece of the whole look.
Street style: Blue & grey menswear, Amsterdam
A nice male look doesn’t have to be complex, colorful or layered …sometimes a simple outfit is all you need.
Street style: Black dresses, New York
In Greenwich Village the female students style themselves quite well. As I was enjoying coffee I spotted lots of fashionable students here …not something you see often in The Netherlands. Lots of dresses and different colours …and also really chic ones ….felt a bit like prom.
