Another shoot for MNSWR Magazine, this time at the canals in Amsterdam. For the article visit their website.
Shoot: Night walks, Lloyd
“For me the way to clean my head …”
Nothing beats a nice walk after a full day at work …I’ll have a fag as I look back on the interesting things that happened that day and try to prepare for the next day. Often I visit friends right after work, but no matter what I always walk. For me the way to clean my head, take a moment to check the latest on social media and make a phone call to my parents.
Editorial shoot: MNSWR
“We had a great shoot with Holland’s No1 street style photographer”
I had the pleasure of shooting this editorial with my friend Michel, MNSWR Publisher & Editorial Director. It’s always great working with inspiring and enthusiastic people …those who stimulate you to become better and better.
Editorial: United Airlines magazine
I got approached by Ink Global to do a street style assignment, which will be published in United Airlines in-flight magazine Hemispheres. I really was a nice experience and a great feeling to know that the photograph I shot will be seen by the customers of United Airlines during their flight.
When I visited New York a few weeks ago I went to Brooklyn to pay Ink Global a visit (read about it here). I was great meeting them in person and receiving my copy of the magazine.
Wedding photography: Mark & Ellen
I got approached by this lovely couple to shoot their wedding, which really was nice to do. Even though I’m not the regular wedding photographer, Ellen did approach me because she likes the usual photography I deliver for Fashionchick (as she’s the founder of Fashionchick). In the end they had a beautiful day and I’m honored to be the person who has captured that day for them.
Shoot: Sport court photo shoot, Jill
A selection of the results from my latest photo shoot with Jill can be found at the portf0li0 section.
Corporate: Fashionchick portraits
“How should I pose? …I don’t know..”
Fashionchick assigned me to shoot their portraits for the new corporate website, this time in a studio setting at their headquarters. It was again a nice experience …it always is with them. The only difference this time was that instead of shooting only one or two persons I now had to shoot like 25 people on a white background. It was fun getting everyone comfortable in front of the lens, which was quite a challenge sometimes …luckily my friend, also founder of Fashionchick, Ellen had some interesting dance moves that got people to laugh a lot!

Thanks a lot people of Fashionchick for this great afternoon and see you soon!
Studio shoot: Basic shoot, Jill
“A nice shoot! I love the way how he does his work – Jill”
A basic shoot with my friend Jill, who I approached on the streets about a year ago for a street style photograph. It’s so great that we’ve stayed in touch with each other …now we often meet for shoots. I really like her style, which you can see in one of my previous posts.
