I got approached by Broadcast Amsterdam for an interview about my photography activities, which was broadcasted in their So Dam Local series at TV channel Salto 1 and also on their YouTube channel.

I won a photography contest and my photos we’re published on ELLE.nl …and I also won a nice camera by Olympus, OM-D E-M10 (see below).
This camera I had to use for this contest (which I won new in box!)
A while ago I was approached for the backstage photography for the Net5 (Dutch tv-chanel) mini TV-series ‘Lekkerbezig Fashionchick‘. For me this was a new and interesting experience.

Totally as a surprise one of my photographs, shot for the FashionChick x Fab. campaign, was used as back cover ad on Fashionista magazine.

“You’re quite fast on a shoot – Marloes of 9StraatjesOnline”
Time was our enemy on that day …. From the office straight to Amsterdam and arriving just before the storm begins. Nevertheless we had a great shoot with Lotte Keijser, from Hollands Next Top Model. I had to work fast and really think ahead to get the needed looks shot before the weather changes into a nasty storm.
It was a nice first collaboration with the women of 9StraatjesOnline, we all understood each other and just had a good time. Look below to see the result of some looks used for their lookbook:

“Carrie ….uh no. Ellen in the City”
Earlier I already told you guys I did a shoot with Fashionchick …but back then I couldn’t give you any details yet. But now I can!
The lovely chicks of Fashionchick started a collaboration with Fab. for several clutch designs. Of course this campaign had to be photographed, so we did that on the streets in Amsterdam in a more street style way with our ‘pro model’ Ellen. During the shoot we all saw a resemblance between Ellen (founder of Fashionchick) and Carrie Bradshaw (Sex in the City) …I’ll post that particular photograph which shows that resemblance soon on the blog. Stay tuned!
